Artistic vision We will work with theater makers who have experience in creating and teaching in a group of participants without a common working language. To us, this seems an ideal context to enrich the vision and experience of the theater practice, for example by integrating elements of physical theatre, dance or theatrical improvisation in which language with words plays a less central role. The artistic form developed by the team of theatre teachers, together with the participants, will become the common language to communicate during this project. Throughout the project, the facilitators will pay close attention to the differences and similarities between the participants and will try to use this diversity as a creative force. They use their language-transcending forms of communication but also the “tensions” between online and offline, which has become a truly international experience to all of us, as a common inspiration. The alternation between online and offline assignments within the co-creation process results in unpredictable outcomes. This variation makes the international co-creation process exciting and innovative. Online and offline aren’t seen anymore as an opposition, but as two different moments of inspiration when the participants nurture the common project called “Remixing Value”. The tension between online and offline leads to daring, unusual, funny, poetic, inspiring, socially engaged or otherwise challenging art and theater assignments. Participating online and offline allows a hybrid form of education. Anyone who gives lessons knows them: such an assignment based on the hybrid experience that is apparently simple, but that challenges participants, students and pupils to the maximum. The students will learn about themselves through online and live activities in relation to theatre.
